Even when it hurts, I am thankful for honesty.
Being honest with ourselves and others is tough. But sometimes it's the easiest way to relieve anxiety. Be honest. Tell the truth. Let people know how you feel. It's hard to have to hold in feelings and not be honest with how you feel. If you're angry, say it. If you're hurt, say it. If you're happy, say it. If you love someone, say it.
Not everyone can handle truth and honesty. But I think it's healthy. It helps us take responsibility for our actions and words. Being honest about our feelings is not easy. But I think it is so worth it.
Be honest. Be true. Be genuine. That is was I strive to be.
